When I'm not frantically typing up a story to hit my deadline, you'll find me at the gym, reading, or yelling at my TV as the Polish National Team's defense collapses before my eyes.  I've loved playing soccer my entire life, but once I realized I wasn't athletic enough to make a career out of it, my dream became to report on the game. My high school journalistic work led me to Syracuse University, where I study journalism in the Newhouse School of Public Communications. Beyond my major, I'm an avid reader of history and exercise science. I love being outside and enjoy hiking, rock climbing, and just walking around cities. Although I'm currently in Central New York, I was born and raised in Chicago. I love all Chicago sports teams — except the White Sox (you have to pick one) — but my favorite is Chicago Fire FC.
